Cutty Sark, Buffalo Trace, E&J

For my first post I have several liquors that easily rank among my favorites to enjoy. I would recommend any of these to individuals who enjoy scotch whisky, traditional bourbon, or fragrant brandy.

Cutty Sark
Cutty Sark is a blended scotch whisky. This is one of my go to drinks when I have difficulty thinking of what I want to purchase. While it's not as smooth as most traditional scotch whiskys it is incredibly drinkable and enjoyable on a hot summer day straight or with ice. The entrance has a very traditional taste followed by a incredibly subtle citrus that wows the senses. It finishes strong and leaves the drinker wanting to take just one more sip to try and distinguish what that flavor is that they can't quite put their finger on.-B

Buffalo Trace Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Buffalo Trace is an incredibly fragrant, affordable, and drinkable mid shelf bourbon. A strong woody flavor is very prevalent throughout the drink (mahogany perhaps?) you may also pick up hints of chestnut. While this bourbon isn't very popular it is very much worth looking into.-B
E&J V.S.O.P. Brandy
E&J was my first brandy to try and remains one of my favorites. Like all good brandys the senses are almost overwhelmed with notes of vanilla, and caramel at the opening of the cork. This brandy is delicious and stays consistent during consumption. It's also meant to be shared, as such a masterpiece should not be appreciated by one's self.-B
